This sweet handcrafted Sconset Rose Cottage Handbag Basket is the most lovely Nantucket accessory. Each rose is rolled, twisted and painted by hand, making no two alike. Each is its own work of art by Susan Fairgrieve and are a Limited Edition. There are only a few of these made.
This adorable cottage also features white curtains like the original cottage and the handle is adorned with a pale green silk ribbon and bow. Surprisingly, this handbag basket is quite spacious inside. The two wooden beads on the back hold the loops in place from opening. The roof of the cottage opens forward for easy access to your belongings, including large phones. Exterior is treated with a matte finish clear coating for protection. We do not recommend using the handbag basket in the rain unless protected with a clear waterproof covering. Water can compromise the construction of this handbag basket.
Cottage measures: 8.5” length x 5” wide x 7.5” height. With handle up: 10” height. The handbag basket is roomy enough to fit a bottle of water!
